Diigu

Diigu is a social bookmarking site which allows to not only to share bookmarks with friends and groups, but also highlight and annotate. Annotations take the form of conversations, allowing ongoing discussion of any website.

Netvibes

Netvibes is a great way to pull together a number of web2.0 services. I have a public page which displays rss of my notes blog for my classes and feeds of pages we're annotating together with diigu. It also lets me create a page which aggregates feeds from my film students individual blogs, allowing me to preview and even comment on them from one page.

Additionally, there is also a private page where you can read email/calendar and other online services and a great plugin which lets you view all your google services in one widget. I'm pretty impressed with it so far and know others who have been using it for a while and think it is great.
